Evans is a great school. Of course it has its problems, but not different from any other school. Every school has fights and things of that nature. They have great programs like the IB program, AP and dual enrollment. Most of the teachers that I have encountered a great and some not so great but that is to be expected. A lot of the administration are very helpful and full of information and want to see the kids at the school be successful and graduate. You have some staff members who attitudes seem like the opposite of that and again that's okay and it happens at every school. Evans was a great school and I am glad I attended it and graduated from it.

Evans high school is a very good school. I just graduated from there this year (may 26,2016). The teachers and staff are wonderful. They always help you out achieve your dreams. They offer a lot of help for any type of situation. They push you and motivate you into doing your work. It's a nice school. People say it's a bad school and all these negative thoughts but it's not. I went to Maynard Evans last school year and will be attending this coming school year. The school is awesome ❤ Evans can be Whatever you make it to be? The Teachers are great ? The support systems are very supportive ? You have guidance counselors there to help you. The school is here to help you. To help you germinate and to have a chance to have an experience to learn as you go. You will also have an opportunity to follow your dreams . Evans is one of the most ghetto schools I've been to thus far. The educational system could use a big update on most courses offered and, lets be honest, the food is trash. Now, I'm not saying the entire school is horrible, but what I am saying is that there is much room for improvement.

I was nervous about sending my kids to this school, but I was greatly surprised. The teachers and staff care. Both my kids are thriving. Honors classes and are involved in sports and other positive activities. All freshman are teamed with mentors. The school is what you make it. The hard thing is there needs to be more community support. Proud Trojan Parent.

Evans is what you make it. Meaning you can't act a fool and expect everything to go your way. Great school in my opinion. Love how the counselor did what they can to keep me on track. Inconclution, I respect every one and they respected me back. Class of 2k15✊?

I have gone to this school ( 10th grade) and I am soon about to leave it, While it was a great experience with some great teachers I have encountered disrespect from staff. They are inefficient in helping student needs, sometimes it seems like half of them dont care about you or your problems, The school is highly focused on making the school the best it can be which is fine, but they are ignoring danger issues and the effects that it has on students ( personal experience). It seems like they don't care about Bulling,Work load or the amount of test, although I am sure that this is probably just OCPS in general. I am not shaming the school in any way I am just stating my experience . I am leaving the school because I don't feel safe. Like i said once before this school is amazing but there are a few things that need to be fixed....but I guess everything cant change at once . If you are going to this school have fun and good-luck!

I'm in 9th grade right now and I thought Evans was going to have fights everyday of the week. But actually there's was only about 3 fights this YEAR. There are a lot of help at this school and the stuff are the nicest people you'll ever meet. This school is going far we're already a B school on our way to a A! FCAT coming imma make sure I do my part and pass.
