Amazing school with wonderful staff and fabulous teachers

I am a proud parent of 7 who have had all of them go through Western Academy. I feel like the school has far exceeded their goals preparing our children for HS and beyond. They also recognize when a student needs some extra help to keep up with their grades and peers.
The staff is so warm and friendly and the teachers really love their students and their work. The school feels like a family.
I am proud to say that my children have and are attending the #1 Charter School in Palm Beach County.

SMART, COMPASSIONATE and SUPPORTIVE staff - We’re so lucky! The teachers and staff here are wonderful. They get to know the kids and their families well throughout the school year. I love the close knit feel of a smaller school with a private school feel. The quality of the what’s being taught behind those walls gives me peace of mind, knowing my daughter is learning the most from the best of the best. The staff has been compassionate and helpful, to say the least, this school year. My daughter started kindergarten and I couldn’t be luckier to have wonderful teachers eager to help ease this huge transition. There are certain things that any professional (teachers, nurses, etc.) can’t be taught- and that’s compassion, people skills and a true love for the job they report to every day. I am thankful to say that the teachers and staff I’ve gotten to know have all of those things. Thank you WACS!!!

Western Academy is a great school!! Our child has been there since Kindergarten and is now in 6th Grade and we have been very happy. The teachers have been and are terrific!!! They really help the kids be prepared for the state test and they ensure they understand what they are learning. The teachers and office administration also ensure many “fun” events and activities are planned throughout the year (during and after school hours) which makes the kids look forward to going to school. The school stresses parent-involvement, which we feel is a KEY to our child’s education. The teachers are open and welcome communication with their students and parents. We would HIGHLY recommend this school for all grades.

Western Academy is one of the best k-8 grade schools in the county with an outstanding STEAM program. I was a student there since 2nd grade and was able to exceeded in my academics thanks to the teachers and staff that ensured each students success. Thanks to Western I was able to get accepted into one of the best schools in Florida. Any parent who wants there kids to exceed in academics should consider having there kids attend Western Academy.

Excellent school! So glad we found it!
I have 3 kids in Western Academy, all since Kindergarten, with the oldest now starting 8th Grade and we love this school. The staff are very professional, motivated, and caring, and the kids thrive under their attention. The smaller size of the school allows for a feeling that everyone is looking out for everyone else, which couldn't be possible in some of the huge Public Schools around. Discipline is strict, but doesn't feel arbitrary and leads to a good learning environment. Having children with different levels of learning ability, I can observe that they accommodate and challenge appropriately according to the child, rather than being some giant mill churning them out. I appreciate the ease of communication with the teachers and staff. I can only hope we get so lucky in High School.

We started this year at WACS to begin middle school. The STEAM Program has been excellent. My daughter is challenged academically to learn and excel. The teachers have brought wonderful real world experiences into the classrooms to help engage the students. My 6th grader loves going to school each day! We are very thankful to have found WACS!

This school has been amazing. The programs they have for both elementary and middle school students are both challenging and rewarding. The teachers are strict, but in a fun and loving way. The school has high expectations for all students. Expect that your child will be pushed to succeed, but that is because the teachers care and want every child to be the best they can be. Several other people I know who have children their in a few different grades have said they appreciate the high standards the school has. That's why they have their children in the school. The school district wasn't offering enough variety. Western Academy has students working on projects, activities, and the traditional things you would expect. Yes, this school does expect students to behave and do their work. I appreciate that above all else considering the low expectations so many other schools have.

I have three boys that attend/attended Western Academy! My now 10th grader graduated from Western Academy as a Valedictorian in 2017. The relationships he made at WACS with students and staff will stay with him forever. The STEAM program got him ready for high school and put him well ahead of his peers. I also have a 1st and 4th grader. Their teachers are amazing, great communication always. I love the project child system. It gives the kids three teachers each school year that they keep for three years! It really gives the teachers an opportunity to get to know the kids and advance in their learning. When they return to school in August there is no time wasted on getting to know each other. They jump right in and pick up where they left off. I feel clusters (team of three teachers) also give the kids and teachers a nice break in the day, you're not in the same class all day with the same teacher (or kids lol) which I really feel helps the teachers and the students stay fresh and enjoying the day. My husband and I are so thankful that we found Western Academy!
